Service Technician

Position Summary:

The successful applicant will be doing service and delivery of home medical equipment (e.g. wheelchairs, electric beds, lifts and power mobility equipment). This candidate should have great trouble shooting skills with some knowledge in doing repair work. No direct industry experience is required, but someone who is mechanically minded and good with repairs would be highly considered. We are looking for someone who works well in a team environment but is also comfortable working independently. The applicant must also show great attention to detail and be efficient in time management.

Responsibilities

:

Repair manual and power mobility devices Install and repair elevating products Program and set-up basic power equipment Install products in client's home Instruct clients in the proper use of product Deliver and set up equipment Responsible for regular maintenance and cleanliness of vehicle Perform other duties as required

Skills/Abilities:

Mechanical and/or technical skills Customer service skills Basic computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiar in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word)
