Premium Pool and Spa is seeking a full-time

Hot Tub & Pool Service Technician

to join our growing service team. This is a hands-on, field-based role working in customers' homes and backyards, performing maintenance, repairs, installations, and seasonal services for hot tubs, spas, and pools. You will represent Premium Pool and Spa professionally while delivering reliable, high-quality service and building long-term customer relationships.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable working independently. This role includes diagnosing plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and water quality issues; installing and servicing equipment such as pumps, heaters, filters, and control systems; and completing pool openings and closings. You will test and balance water chemistry, educate customers on proper care and maintenance, and respond to emergency service calls when required.

Accurate documentation is a key part of this role. Technicians are responsible for completing clear service records for billing and warranty purposes, maintaining service histories in our CRM system, tracking parts usage, and helping ensure truck inventory is properly stocked. This position also includes hot tub deliveries using truck and trailer, crane, and/or forklift, along with maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe working condition.

Customer service is essential to success in this role. You will communicate clearly with customers regarding work performed, required follow-ups, and preventative maintenance, while also promoting service contracts, chemicals, and accessories when appropriate. Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude are critical.

Schedule

This is a full-time position (30+hrs), Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Occasional evenings and weekends are required.

Requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Two to three years of technical service experience is preferred, particularly in pools, spas, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or related trades. Candidates must be able to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors year-round, and be comfortable using basic computer systems (CRM training provided). Strong communication skills, punctuality, reliability, and adaptability are required.

Forklift experience, water chemistry knowledge, or pool and spa repair experience are preferred; however, we provide excellent training for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: $18.00-$32.00 per hour
