About Oakcreek Golf & Turf



Oakcreek Golf & Turf LP is a leading Western Canadian OEM distributor of commercial turf maintenance and other equipment including Toro Turf Equipment, Yamaha Golf Cars and Pisten Bully Snowcats.

Our business is seeking a skilled Service Technician - Outdoor Power Equipment or Heavy Equipment to join our Surrey, BC team. A Journeyperson is preferred; however, candidates who are 3rd-year Apprentices or higher will be considered.



Reporting to the Surrey Service Manager, the Service Technician will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of a broad range of equipment and attachments. Key responsibilities include:

Inspecting all product lines, including Toro, Yamaha, PistenBully, and others, to identify faults and malfunctions Performing routine maintenance across all Oakcreek product lines, including oil and fluid changes, lubrication, and general servicing Installing accessories and attachments such as canopies, decks, tillers, winches, blades, and related components Diagnosing equipment issues and determining the scope of required repairs Repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems using hand and power tools Servicing attachments and working tools Testing repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications Traveling to customer locations, as directed, to perform on-site service and repairs

Candidate Profile



The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:

Journeyperson certification as an Automotive, Outdoor Power Equipment, or Heavy Equipment Technician preferred A minimum of

three to five years of related experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines A strong sense of urgency and effective issue prioritization Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment Proven ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization Demonstrated initiative and a results-driven approach

Additional Requirements



Candidates must supply their own tools, stored in a toolbox capable of being lifted into a service vehicle via forklift. Certain job-specific and specialty tools are provided as shop tools A valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract is required, as this role includes use of a company service vehicle Occasional travel to the United States or abroad may be required for vendor-specific training and certification. A valid passport and eligibility to travel internationally may be required
