Operations include two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres located in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.
We are currently recruiting for a Summer Service Technicians to join our Winnipeg location for summer work from May until the end of August. This position is Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm making $18.32 per hour. This would be a great summer job working for a great company!
This Summer Service Technician is responsible for making local service calls for sealed unit replacements in customers\xe2\x80\x99 homes on All Weather Windows products and operating a company truck.
If you have a track record of excellent customer service, carpentry skills, proficiency with hand tools, site and/or construction experience, and a positive team-focused attitude, you are an ideal candidate for this position. We are looking for someone who can work on their own to complete simple jobs efficiently and effectively, as well as someone who we can train to assist team members in more complex repairs.
In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Operates service truck and services local calls in homes and businesses
• Installation of glass / sealed units in homes and businesses
• Inspecting job sites and measuring sealed units
• Heavy lifting of glass to complete site glazing
• Maintains detailed paperwork
• Representing All Weather Windows to homeowners
• Complying with all Health & Safety regulations
• Perform in shop service work
• Performing other duties as required

Primary Qualifications Required:

• Mechanical aptitude, skill and experience with hand tools
• Good customer relations, written and verbal communication skills
• Innovative and problem-solving skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Must be able to lift at least 90 lbs
• Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision
• Flexible and adaptable in any situation
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Position will require working overtime and short notice
• Must have a valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License and acceptable Driver\xe2\x80\x99s Abstract
• Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing
• Successful candidates will be expected to supply their own pairs of CSA Certified safety footwear (Indoor Steel Toe and Outdoor Steel Toe Footwear)
