Job Title: Service Technician - Full Time

Ocean Quest is a dive shop and commercial service center specializing in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of scuba equipment including regulators, cylinders, compressors, and exposure suits. Our team works to the highest industry standards to ensure reliability, safety, and performance.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Service Technician to support our senior technicians in the servicing and repair of scuba and related equipment. The successful candidate will have proven mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical documentation and service processes. This is a full-time permanent position with a 3-month probationary period.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in servicing and repairing scuba gear, compressors, and related equipment Follow schematics, service manuals, and established procedures with accuracy Perform troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues Maintain detailed service records and documentation Support workshop operations, ensuring a safe and organized environment Assist dive shop staff as needed with customers, students, and general shop duties

Qualifications

Demonstrated mechanical experience (e.g., appliance repair, automotive repair, small engine maintenance) Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal Reliable, detail-oriented, and process-driven Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Assets

Previous scuba or dive equipment experience Access to a reliable vehicle
