POSITION: SERVICE TECHNCIAN



LOCATION: RED DEER, AB



REPORTS TO: BRANCH MANAGER

We are looking for someone who has a strong mechanical background and is comfortable around electrical systems and machine and system controls. Diesel engine experience is also an asset. Someone who can work independently but enjoys being a part of great team, while embracing a culture of safety excellence. About the Role:



Central Air is an Alberta-owned company originally established in 1995 specializing in parts, service, sales, rentals and custom fabrication for air compressors and associated equipment. Today, CAE has two locations in Alberta in Calgary & Red Deer. These multiple divisions allow us to operate and service an expanded area of Western Canada.

This role is primarily for a field technician, travelling to and from customer sites both within the City of Red Deer and throughout Central and Northern Alberta. Occasional interprovincial travel may be required.

Duties include troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and installation of air compressors and associated equipment in a wide variety of customer industries.

Required Experience:

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician. The ideal candidate is someone with experience in air or gas compression or a closely related field. We are looking for a seasoned trouble-shooter, able to work independently and as a team, and with experience at minimum with rotary screw and reciprocating air compressor technologies.

Millwrights or Industrial Mechanics are preferred, but Electricians, Heavy-Duty Mechanics other trades and experience levels will also be considered. Those with lower compressor experience levels but a positive attitude, strong mechanical/electrical aptitudes and willingness to learn and retain new skills may also apply for the position.

Candidate must hold valid Alberta Driver's License. A driver's abstract will be required prior to hire date.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
