Duties

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and plumbing fixtures. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various mechanical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Provide field service support for clients, addressing their needs promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members on larger projects involving construction or property maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC design and technology.

Experience

Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role within the HVAC/R field. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, including air conditioning systems, boilers, and refrigeration units. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in appliance repair is an asset. Background in construction or property maintenance is advantageous. Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
