Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8-hour shifts

About the Role



We are currently looking for an experienced service technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an individual with light fixture servicing experience, who is a highly motivated self-starter with a proven ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Reporting to the Manager of the department, the Service Technician will play a crucial role in our operations by providing technical support for our customers. This position requires technical expertise in light fixtures and lighting controls. You will be working out of our westend warehouse location.

Key Responsibilities:



Technical Service:



Provide technical assistance to customers regarding our products, including installation guidance, troubleshooting, and maintenance tips. Perform on-site visits for installations and technical inspections as needed in customer homes or Chateau Lighting showroom. Collaborate with sales team to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

General Responsibilities:



Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in other areas of the business as needed, such as customer pickups, deliveries, furniture deliveries/building and occasional off-site support as directed by the manager.

Qualifications:



1+ years experience as a service technician, preferrably in lighting or electrical. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical systems or a related field is preferred but not required. Construction Safety Training System (CSTS 2020) is required to perform work on construction sites.

3-year driver's abstract to show clear driving history

Must be comfortable working at heights of 14 feet.


Experience:



Strong customer service experience and communication. Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with lighting systems or electrical installations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
