Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team at Home Coffee Solutions Ltd. This role is essential in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and support for their espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee related equipment. As a Service Technician, you will play a key role in repair, maintenance, and installation of consumer and commercial related coffee equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs and maintenance on home and commercial coffee machines with a focus on quality and reliability
Assist with installations and programming of commercial coffee equipment at customer sites
Provide timely, clear updates to customers about their repair status and respond to service inquiries
Accurately document service work, parts used, and maintain organized records
Support warehousing, shipping, and logistics tasks as needed, including receiving and inventory management
Adhere to company service level agreements (SLAs) and meet performance expectations for timely completion of work
Communicate proactively with the VP of Operations regarding workload, timelines, and any issues affecting service delivery
Demonstrate a positive, team-focused attitude and contribute to a collaborative work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Assist with other operational or administrative tasks as required
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics, mechanics, or appliance/apparatus repair is an asset
Experience in coffee machine repair is extremely rare; candidates with this background will be given the highest priority
Experience in HVAC, hot water tank systems, or similar technical fields is closely applicable and strongly encouraged to apply
2+ years of experience in appliance, electronics, or related repair preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently in a small team
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed
Physical ability to lift and move equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50-$29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
