Summit Water is seeking a Service Technician with strong hands-on experience servicing pumps and water treatment equipment. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with a technical background in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of water reuse and treatment systems. Your work will be critical in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our water systems, delivering exceptional service to our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Perform installation, startup, service, and maintenance of water systems across Ontario, with a focus on pumps and water treatment equipment. Assist in the assembly and installation of water treatment systems, including control panel wiring, VFD programming, and instrumentation setup. Conduct in-house testing and quality control to ensure systems meet rigorous standards before delivery. Support on-site commissioning, startup, and operator training for clients. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to pumps, electrical control systems, and water treatment processes. Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to improve system designs and service processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

:

Strong hands-on experience servicing pumps and water treatment equipment. Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. Technical College Diploma or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or water systems). Familiarity with control panels, VFDs, and pump programming. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

:

3+ years of experience as a Service Technician in the water treatment or pump industry. Experience with water reuse, stormwater, and rainwater systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
