Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Vinyl Windows Service Technician and Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery and adjusting the windows and glaze the glass units. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks as required.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to designated locations.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered during transport.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
• Utilize forklift equipment when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.

Experience

• Previous experience in delivery services is preferred.
• Able to fix Vinyl windows Issues and glaze the glass units
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive experience for clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 5 Licence (preferred)
