Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, All Weather Windows Ltd. (AWW) is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada. Operations include two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres located in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

We are currently seeking a Service Technician III to work in the Kelowna and as part of the Langley Team.

The Service Technician is responsible for making local and out of town service calls to do on-site repairs, completing paperwork in customers' homes on All Weather Windows products (windows and doors) and operating a company truck. The Service Technician would be responsible to service the Okanagan area. Accommodations and per diem provided.

If you have a track record of excellent customer service, carpentry skills, proficiency with hand tools, site and/or construction experience, and a positive team-focused attitude, you are an ideal candidate for this position. We are looking for someone who can work on their own to complete simple jobs efficiently and effectively, as well as someone who we can train to assist team members in more complex repairs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Operate service truck and service local calls in homes and businesses
  • Installation and repair of windows and doors in homes and businesses
  • On-site repair of product and installation of Glass
  • Handle on-site problems as they occur
  • Perform heavy lifting of glass
  • Maintains detailed paperwork
  • Represent the company in contacts with dealers, contractors and homeowners
  • Comply with all Health & Safety regulations
Primary Qualifications Required:
  • Mechanical aptitude, skill and experience with hand tools
  • Good customer relations, written and verbal communication skills
  • Innovative and problem-solving skills
  • Mechanically inclined and able to work on scaffolding at heights over 12 feet
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible and adaptable in any situation
  • Position will require working overtime and short notice
  • Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License and acceptable Driver's Abstract
  • Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing
Status of Position
  • Permanent Full-time
  • Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, some overtime may be required
  • Hourly rate commensurate with experience and qualifications
