Service Support Associate, Group Retirement Services

Job Description




As a member of our National Implementation Team, you will provide administrative support to the group retirement client services team. The Service Support Associate is organized, detail-orientated and experienced with Microsoft\xe2\x80\x99s programs. This role provides critical support to our service team and helps to deliver a high-level client experience.

For candidates in British Columbia, the salary range for this position is $42,700 - $64,000 annually.

For candidates in Newfoundland, the salary range for this position is $38,400 - $67,600 annually.

Accountabilities

  • Creation of client and advisor reports
  • Prepare amendment documents for submission to head office partners
  • Use internal systems to create and order client material
  • General administrative tasks using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Provide other administrative support as needed to enhance the client experience, contributing to an efficient, energized and effective Group Customer Team
  • Performing general office duties and other
  • Provide back-up support to other positions on the team as required
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Highly adaptable, driven to be your best, and proven initiative
  • Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Knowledge of the group retirement industry would be an asset
  • In addition to this the successful candidate will be required to successfully complete the Group Life and Health Primer online study course under the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist Program.
