Summary of Position
Reporting to the Service Division Manager, the Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the effective completion of tasks performed by the trade personnel. This position is also required to support the technical requirements of the service division and develop business opportunities through estimates, procurement and job coordination. In addition, they will develop and strengthen client relationships while ensuring superior service quality, and that all jobs are completed on time and on budget in accordance with client specifications. This position will adhere to and enforce all company health, safety, and environment policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
In coordination with the Service Administrator, dispatch duties for all technicians related to client requests and preventative maintenance schedules
Oversee and supervise technicians to ensure all work is completed in accordance with client specifications
Assist and support technicians as required to establish appropriate work methods to meet client requirements
Oversee the requisition of materials and equipment as required
Oversee and ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and submitted on-time to ensure accurate billing process
Maintain ongoing relationship with customers and follow-up on any related issues and assist to rectify
Support sales and project team with client estimates and proposal submissions as required
Streamline work group and recommend measures to improve productivity
Train or arrange for training of workers
Recommend personnel activities such as hiring and promotions
Ensure standards for safe working conditions are enforced and strictly adhered to
Oversee work in progress reports and monitor financial job performance
May also supervise, co-ordinate and assign activities of related apprentices, helpers and laborer's.

Employment Requirements
Completion of college or university program in business administration or in a discipline related to management operations
Experience in business administration or related management operations considered a benefit
Competency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Ideally 5-10 years' experience in a working technician role
Effective leadership skills with a strong focus on business operations processes
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Availability to travel from time to time as required
