Your Mission

As an Atlas Copco Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the sale of Atlas Copco Service products for new and existing customers, execution of joint strategic planning with the General Industry and the Motor Vehicle Industry sales teams and creating profitable growth targets in Canada.

The Role

Reporting to the Service National Sales Manager - applicant will be responsible for the following:

  • Real-time assessment of our business position in automotive and general industry manufacturing facilities (and their suppliers) in the territory (IE, SWOT analysis, customer needs and expectations, market share, revenue, customer input, competition, etc.)
  • Creation of a sound business plan and on-going activity plan.
  • Execution of all Service sales products and aftermarket support.
  • Development of complete customer satisfaction in all accounts.
  • Development of positive relationships in all accounts.
  • Development of positive relationships within Atlas Copco (i.e., all internal customers like Product Sales, Customer service, Applications center etc.
  • Formal introduction of all new Service products to General Industry and Motor Vehicle Industry customers with customer specific value focus.
  • Accurate territory forecasting.
  • Reporting all product needs and competitive activity.
  • Development of new accounts and maintenance of existing accounts / distributors.
  • Strategic partner and resource to all Product Sales for Canada
  • Generate all service proposals and quotes in CRM software
Skills and Experience
  • Experience requirements: Service, Engineering, Business Development, Maintenance Management or background, Consulting, Sales, Product or Project Management experience preferred, however not mandatory. CRM software experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge: Business-to-Business sales strategy, industrial/manufacturing management, and strong mechanical or technical aptitude preferred, however not mandatory. Excellent communication, computer and people skills required.
  • Language: Bilingual-English/French required. Able to read, write and understand and speak conversational French (for Quebec-territory
  • Educational requirements: Business, Sales or Engineering concentration preferred, or equivalent experience required (5+years).

Territory

The territory for this position is the Canadian market. The territory will be formally developed depending on the specific candidate for this position. Current provinces include ON and QC. You must reside in the region. Must reside within the Canadian Manufacturing hub between Windsor and Montreal
