Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems. This role requires a hands-on approach, utilizing both hand tools and power tools to ensure efficient plumbing solutions. The Plumber will work on various projects, from residential to commercial, ensuring compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues before they arise. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Conduct heavy lifting as required for installation or repair tasks. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including HVAC technicians and carpenters, to complete projects efficiently. Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC systems, and general maintenance. Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Experience with welding techniques is a plus. Capability to perform assembly tasks related to plumbing installations. Pay: $18.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
