Summary

The Service Operations & Administration Supervisor is responsible for the success of the Thunder Bay Service Division including VFSS, Fire & Life Safety Emergency Equipment, Respiratory, Instrumentation, Fall Arrest, T&C, and Rentals. This role encompasses leadership, operational oversight, and administrative coordination to ensure the division functions efficiently and effectively.



You will work closely with the Regional Service Manager to provide support to technicians while also managing day-to-day branch operations, scheduling, reporting, and administrative processes. This dual focus ensures that technicians are equipped with the technical knowledge, resources, and support they need to perform their roles, while operational and administrative workflows run smoothly.



In this role, you'll:



Lead, mentor, and support a team of service professionals. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and regular training to maintain high service standards. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and safety-driven work environment. Ensure all team certifications and compliance requirements are current. Plan and manage team resources to meet operational and administrative objectives. Conduct safety orientations, promote hazard reporting, and enforce compliance protocols. Oversee branch operations including service records, documentation, and administrative workflows. Manage inventory, forecast material needs, and coordinate with internal teams for project planning. Support operational planning and budget management to meet financial targets. Identify and pursue opportunities to grow service revenue in VFSS and Fire Life Safety. Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery. Collaborate with coordinators and managers to optimize scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.

Role Requirements

Proven leadership experience in a service, technical, or administrative environment. Strong operational and administrative background in fire safety or related service areas. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of balancing multiple priorities. Deep commitment to health, safety, and compliance. Ability to manage budgets, operational metrics, and customer expectations.
