Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. is looking for a customer-oriented and knowledgeable Service Manager to lead the Springfield (Winnipeg East) Service department. The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring high-quality repairs, strong team leadership, and excellent customer service. This role is responsible for technician supervisor, workflow management, financial performance, and maintaining compliance with Peterbilt/PACCAR service standards.

The Role:

Direct daily operations of a busy service department to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Lead, coach and mentor service technicians and service advisors, while maintaining compliance with Peterbilt service standards.

Schedule technicians, assign work orders and balance technician workload.

Promote a positive work environment while focusing on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Handle warranty claims ensuring prompt and accurate service.

Ensure a tidy shop environment, manage inventory of shop supplies, while verifying tools and equipment are maintained properly.

Ensure customers receive excellent service including timely updates, accurate estimates, and clear communication

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

3-5 years in a heavy-duty truck dealership or service environment (Peterbilt or PACCAR experience an asset)

Proven leadership experience

Strong understanding of diagnostic processes and repair procedures

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong organizational, budgeting, time management and problem-solving skills

Experience with CDK and PACCAR Solutions are considered an asset

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and lead a diverse team effectively.
