Job Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Manager to oversee daily operations at our automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and dealership management, with excellent leadership and communication skills. This role involves managing service department activities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales through effective upselling strategies. The Service Manager will play a key role in maintaining high service standards while fostering a positive environment for both customers and staff.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate the activities of the service department to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery Oversee automotive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards Manage customer interactions, addressing concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty Develop and implement sales strategies, including upselling additional services and maintenance packages Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper financial records Train, mentor, and evaluate service department staff to promote professional growth and performance excellence Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, coordinating with vendors as needed Ensure compliance with dealership policies, safety regulations, and industry standards

Skills



Dealership experience is highly preferred, with a solid understanding of automotive sales and service operations Mechanic experience or mechanical knowledge to effectively oversee repair processes and communicate technical information Strong customer service skills to build trust and ensure client satisfaction Proven ability in sales techniques, including upselling additional services or products Experience in automotive repair environments with knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair procedures Cash handling expertise for accurate processing of payments Excellent leadership abilities with strong communication skills to motivate team members and coordinate departmental activities Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a dynamic team while delivering exceptional service experiences.
