Job Description

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, managing financial performance, and leading a team of skilled tradespeople and support staff. You will ensure customer commitments are met while maintaining a culture rooted in safety, respect, and accountability.

$120,000 - $125,000 annually


What You'll Do




Lead, coach, and develop a unionized service team to achieve performance and safety goals. Oversee service operations including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation. Manage departmental P&L, budgets, and forecasts to meet business objectives. Build strong customer relationships and ensure service commitments are delivered with quality and efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to align service delivery with company goals. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, service processes, and customer satisfaction.

What You Bring




Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Service Management, preferably within the heavy equipment industry. Strong understanding of working with unionized environments and leading diverse teams. Solid business acumen with proven experience managing departmental P&L. Preferred mechanical aptitude and/or relevant industry experience. Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel. Knowledge of ERP systems for service management and business operations. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
