Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our service department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in transport trailer/truck repair, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing service staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage the service department team to ensure high-quality service delivery. Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Upsell services and products to customers based on their needs and vehicle condition. Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as safety regulations. Collaborate with mechanics to diagnose vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repairs. Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies; place orders as necessary. Train and mentor staff on best practices in customer service and automotive repair.

Requirements



Proven experience in a managerial role within an transport trailer/truck repair environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a mechanic preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Experience in upselling services or products effectively. Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial transactions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for the automotive industry and commitment to continuous improvement.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
