is searching for a friendly and knowledgeable

Automotive Service Manager

to manage the operations of the mechanical service department to drive productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction.

As a Service Manager, your duties will include:

Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services Setting quality standards and maintaining the quality of all shop activities Ensuring completion of shop maintenance and repair work Addressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner Advising technicians of work that must be completed Ensuring technicians compliance with company standards regarding quality, safety, and customer service Managing the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers, and customers Ordering Parts for mechanical jobs Maintain Inventory levels for oils & filters Create work orders, arrange bookings, and communicate them to technicians. Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.

Our ideal candidate has/is:

2+ years of professional experience as a Service Manager or Service Advisor required

Must be available to work Saturday's

Strong knowledge of mechanical services & parts Proven effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes High level of integrity and accountability A customer service focus Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers Strong communication, and interpersonal skills Continuously looking to learn and use new skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvements
