Responsibilities

Supervise and lead employees in the Service department, including Technicians, Service Advisors, Warranty Administrators, and Service Cashiers Address customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner Maintain and promote a safe work environment Maintain relationships with suppliers Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery Manage quality assurance - setting quality standards, maintaining high quality of all garage activities Responsible for recruitment, adherence to company policies, and performance management Analyze and report on the department's daily, monthly, and annual key performance indicators and industry trends Review and use the monthly Profit and Loss statements to ensure expense control and proactively plan service and sales goals

Qualifications

Post-secondary diploma or degree in a mechanical/technical field preferred 5 or more years of previous management experience in a technical environment Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes * A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, procedures, and other operational issues faced by the organization
