In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to key IT Service Management initiatives. Working under the direction of the IT Asset Management Process Owner, you will assist in the management of both hardware and software assets, process improvements, and data analysis efforts. This opportunity will provide you with exposure to technology business operations and allow you to develop valuable skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key elements of this role include::Key Responsibilities:Assist with the day-to-day operations of IT Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) practices.Support the maintenance of the IT Asset repository in ServiceNow, including performing data analysis, generating reports, and handling administrative tasks.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, providing clear, concise descriptions of issues and resolutions.Contribute to identifying and supporting continuous improvement and process optimization efforts related to HAM and SAM practices.Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety regulations, ensuring personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace. These skills will make you successful::Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, with a focus on Information Management, Business, or a related field.Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.Working proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required.Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT management systems is considered an asset but not required.A proactive attitude toward learning and improving business processes.Previous customer service experience is an asset.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
