Norcope Construction Group is looking for a full time (seasonal) service and lube technician to be based in Faro Yukon. This position will work 60-70hrs per week and there may be potential to transition into a permanent position at the end of the project. Job duties:
- Routine maintenance of onsite equipment ( daily greasing and 250/500hr services)
- Diagnostics and execution of small repairs( Electrical, Hydraulic, mechanical etc)
- Welding and operation of cutting torches
- Routine reporting of equipment hours to maintenance supervisor
- Organizing of parts lists required to complete repairs
- Shipping / Receiving of material
- Operation of Front end loader
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a mechanical / service capacity.
- Must be able to lift 75lbs
- Strong organizational skills
- effective communication skills both verbally and written
- able to work as part of a team and promote a positive work environment
