Service Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

As a key member of the Logistics Team, reporting to the Service Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for proactively directing the daily work schedules of Service Technicians to efficiently meet customer service needs. You'll be a part of a collaborative team that prioritizes customer satisfaction and operational excellence, where your expertise will support us in meeting our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while providing input towards continuous improvement.
What you'll do:

  • Own the daily planning and scheduling of service activities while leveraging industry leading technology to optimize field-level throughput.
  • Communicate with customers as required, in the planning and scheduling of service appointments.
  • Build positive, collaborative relationships with the logistics team, district management and field staff.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and analyze daily KPIs, identifying gaps and providing solutions supporting the achievement of operational excellence objectives.
  • Monitor the progress and execution of work plans and react in real-time to adjust schedules and maximize field output.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered by the Service Technician including routing and scheduling conflicts and activate contingency plans when necessary.
  • Review, manage and report on completed service tasks daily to ensure they are finalized accurately and timely while maximizing billable revenue.
  • Play a critical role in the planning and execution of internal preventative maintenance, and safety and compliance programs.
  • Promote adherence to all relevant Regulatory and Safety requirements, both legislated and internal standards.

  • Completed post-secondary education
  • Proven customer-focused work style, verbal communication skills and the ability to present information to a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to review data including KPIs and use this information to solve problems and continuously improve performance.
  • Ability to build relationships, internally and externally, and lead through influence.
  • Exceptional organization and time management abilities, thriving under pressure and adjusting to shifting priorities.
  • Intermediate computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office are required and previous experience with MS Excel and routing or mapping technology is preferred.
  • Safety and technical knowledge, with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
