Published on Main is currently seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our front of house team as Service Lead.



POSITION OVERVIEW





As Service Lead, your role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant during guest-facing hours. This includes overseeing the guest experience and providing support to the front-of-house team, empowering them to perform at their best.

RESPONSIBILITIES



SERVICE



Lead daily service with enthusiasm, ensuring execution aligns with our standards. Ensure all elements necessary for service are prepared prior to guest arrival, and proactively respond to evolving needs throughout service. Support service staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

OPERATIONS



Communicate any low stock items essential for service to the Assistant General Manager to facilitate timely ordering. Uphold standards of cleanliness and safety, working with the team to maintain a clean, organized environment.

GUEST EXPERIENCE & ENGAGEMENT



Model excellent guest engagement for the team. Create personalized experiences by building relationships and sharing the stories behind our food and beverage offerings. Craft custom menus for guests, highlighting and upselling premium offerings. Confidently prepare allergy menus, explain modifications or accommodations, and communicate effectively with the kitchen team.

STANDARDS & COMPLIANCE



Support the enforcement of service standards and compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Collaborate with the management team to continuously improve service quality and operational execution.

TEAM ENGAGEMENT & CULTURE



Maintain a calm, level-headed presence on the floor, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment. Provide training and constructive feedback to team members as needed. Actively foster an inclusive, cooperative atmosphere that enhances service and ambiance. Engage in ongoing learning about our offerings and industry trends, and share knowledge with both guests and team members.

REQUIREMENTS



Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience and a desire to continue to grow and learn in an ever changing environment. Serving it Right Certification. Basic wine and spirit knowledge is a must. Must be available weekends and evenings.
