Summary

As a Service Express Insider at Hotel Belmont Vancouver MGallery, you will support both guest service and hotel operations, contributing to a safe, clean, and elevated guest experience. This dynamic role combines concierge-style service, security awareness, and cross-departmental collaboration, positioning you as a key ambassador of our boutique property.

Responsibilities

Be the welcoming face of the hotel, assisting guests with check-in, luggage, and personalized local recommendations. Provide concierge-style service, including room deliveries, amenity requests, and tailored suggestions that enhance the guest experience. Support hotel safety and security by conducting property patrols, monitoring access points, and responding professionally to emergencies. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the lobby, entrance, and public spaces, while ensuring exterior pathways remain safe and inviting. Assist with luggage handling for individual travelers, groups, and tours, ensuring care and efficiency at all times. Collaborate with the Guest Experience team and support other departments during peak periods. Carry out light housekeeping, minor maintenance, and cross-functional tasks as needed. Acquire and share knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and Vancouver's cultural highlights to enrich the guest journey.

Qualifications

Strong English communication skills (verbal and written). Previous guest service or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and guest-focused mindset. Physically able to lift and transport luggage and items up to 50 lbs. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A collaborative team player with an authentic passion for hospitality.
