We are looking for a

Service Electrician

to help us provide safety, security, and peace of mind for our clients. Allpoints Fire Protection Ltd. works in a variety of industries, including schools, hospitals, local businesses and even natural resources with mines and mills.

We travel to see clients from Haida Gwaii in the west, to the Alberta border in the east; from 100 Mile House in the south, to the Yukon border in the north. Experience all of beautiful Northern BC with Allpoints Fire Protection.

Primary Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

Repairs and maintenance to fire alarm, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, and suppression systems

Procuring materials for approved deficiency quotes

Working with customers to determine the most economical and efficient route for their deficiencies and/or repairs

Additional responsibilities for this role could include but are not limited to:

Deficiency quoting from annual inspections of fire alarm, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, etc

Assisting Fire Alarm Dept with tender packages (take offs, shop drawings, etc)

Assisting technicians with materials, reports, and information

Assisting with inspections and programming

Required Qualifications:

Valid driver's license

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Clean criminal record report

Red Seal Electrician Certificate

Excellent communications skills both verbal & written

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5pm availability

Travel for work and/or after-hours work

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Fire Protection Industry

Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical background an asset

Previous experience in estimating an asset

Allpoints' Compensation Package Includes:

Competitive wage from $32/hr - $42/hr annually depending on experience

Company service vehicle with gas card

$1/hour contributed to RRSP following 6 months continuous employment

Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 48 per week
