Job Summary:
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Store Maintenance Operations, the Service Desk Rep, Store Maintenance will be responsible for providing support to stores and ensuring efficient maintenance operations and continuous improvement across all locations in Canada and the United States. You will be required to support and assist in day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and limit any impacts to operations while maximizing cost efficiencies and synergies. You will be involved in our ongoing transformation from a traditional brick and mortar retailer to an omni-channel leader and tech-first fashion disruptor.
Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for our stores seeking assistance by phone, email, and/or through a ticket;
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate all maintenance service requests and emergencies, including those related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locks, furniture, and sound systems;
  • Process incoming requests promptly and accordingly, and ensure that activities are consistently and concisely documented;
  • Analyze each case, work order, and technician feedback assigned to you and help store coordinators mitigate issues at the store level while ensuring reasonable costs;
  • Track and follow up with their work in progress until completion, including but not limited to placing service calls, contacting external vendors, and collaborating with landlords and on-site operations managers;
  • Coordinate logistics around purchases, prepare and approve purchase orders, reconcile relevant billing, and execute follow-ups;
  • Help and assist internal departments with various projects and initiatives in-store;
  • Be available for emergency calls outside regular office hours (in rotation with other team members);
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in Customer Service and/or Facilities Management;
  • DEC in Building Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical, or Building Administration, or any other relevant certificate, is an asset;
  • Experience in the retail industry is an asset;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec;
  • Knowledge of purchasing methods;
  • Strong ability to coordinate resources and day-to-day activities;
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work independently;
  • Ability to identify improvement areas, propose solutions, and resolve problems;
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities.
