We are currently seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join our busy shop in Steinback, Manitoba. The primary focus of responsibility is to support the maintenance department, this role involves managing maintenance records, scheduling repairs, and ensuring that maintenance operations run smoothly and efficiently. Purchase and Work Order creation and completion management Provide scheduling and coordination support to the shop and Operations Team by assisting with work prioritization, triaging, and staging activities to support uptime and cost control. Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities and repairs. Driver and Dispatch maintenance support and service Manage tire, tow and mobile services for units and vendors Communicate with vendors and contractors to arrange for services. Respond to maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the maintenance management system. Assist with the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and policies. Provide after hours support regarding breakdown calls Assist parts department when required Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or a related field is preferable Previous experience in a maintenance or administrative role preferred Proficient in Microsoft applications Strong problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal communication skills and self-motivation Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands Demonstrates exceptional customer service and professionalism At Big Freight Systems, we are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity in the workplace.
