Gear Power is looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team in Mississauga. Gear Power specializes in truck mounted equipment, specifically hydraulics and SPIF along with snow and ice control equipment. We have been in business six years, and are growing rapidly. About the role:
Our Service Coordinator is responsible for providing support and coordinating the functions of the truck shop at Gear Power. This includes signing in trucks, answering all customer inquiries and service requests, coordinating work orders in the shop, following up on back orders and many other tasks. You would be wearing many hats - but involved in all major aspects of our shop operations. Key Responsibilities: - Handle walk in customer requests and phone calls for parts and service department
- Signing in and Signing out of trucks
- Administration of sales invoices to customers and vendors
- Coordinating transfer of trucks
- Ensuring backup of work completed to the inventory management system
- Ensure status update on jobs being performed in the shop at any time
- Assist with receiving parts and confirm accuracy and condition of shipped orders
- Follow up on back orders and delays and update management
- Organize parts area and assist with inventory
- Assist with warranty claims
- Handle other shop-related tasks Must Haves:
- Positive, upbeat attitude with ambitious outlook
- The ability to work in a faced paced environment, mostly independently once trained
- Detail oriented, dependable and punctual
- Excellent communication skills; being able to work with others is a necessity
- Strong computer skills
- Must be able to meet expected deadlines
- Valid G class license with a clean driving record Nice to Have:
- Ability to speak Punjabi or Hindi will be an asset but not required. About the work environment:
Hours: Monday - Friday 9 am -5 pm
Location: Mississauga, Tomken Road just north of Derry Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Salary: $18.00-$27.00 per hour Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $18.00-$27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree (required)
Experience:
  • Administrative experience: 2 years (required)
