As a Service Cashier, a typical day will include the following:

Greet customers warmly, answer calls, and schedule service appointments in a courteous and professional manner. Check in customers, verify contact and vehicle details, and explain the service process. Process repair orders and payments accurately, including cash, credit, check, and warranty transactions. Balance the daily cash drawer, reconcile receipts, and maintain accurate transaction records. Provide repair status updates, handle inquiries or concerns, and escalate issues when necessary. Maintain organized records, files, and data in the dealership management system (Reynolds & Reynolds) Ensure a clean, welcoming, and comfortable waiting area for customers. Support service department operations, promotions, and administrative tasks as needed. Other duties required by management

This role may be right for you if:

You have a passion for customer service. You use your strong communication skills to deal with customers and provide them with correct information and pricing. You are comfortable communicating over the phone and in writing. You pay attention to details. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Proficiency with dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Professional appearance and customer-first attitude. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment. You demonstrate multitasking abilities while working under pressure. You are self-motivated and driven. You volunteer for new challenges and responsibilities, all while maintaining high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
