Summary
This role is responsible for being part of our services support team, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service contributes to our world-class, high level of customer satisfaction. We are seeking a friendly, bright, and energetic individual to collaborate with us in supporting both our installations and on-site service requirements. As a first-line response to customers on-site in your assigned territory, you will communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging manner, focusing on finding the right solution for each customer.
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding service and expert guidance to customers about products, ensuring they are paired with the best solution for their lifestyle.
Performing service and repairs to a variety of vehicles & Heavy Equipment
Advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment.
Adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment.
Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance.
Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment.
Inspect and test engines and motors to diagnose and isolate faults.
Managing and maintaining adequate and accurate inventory.
Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor.
Training, Education, & Skills
A post-secondary education with a diploma in the electrical or mechanical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.
Up to 2 years of related experience (but more than that is always a plus).
Experience with diesel engines and/or cogeneration equipment is a significant asset.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable working with hand and power tools
Proven experience in the assembly of electrical systems for automated machinery.
Must have thorough knowledge of current industrial electrical standards, ability to read electrical schematics and basic working knowledge
3rd language preferred, such as (Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc)
Working Conditions
Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling. Work will include the general assembly of products and general labour when required.
Work may involve lifting materials and products weighing up to 30 pounds, as well as the use of safety equipment, including but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots with steel toes, PVC protective wear, vinyl, latex, or PVC gloves, cotton gloves, and a dust mask.
Frequent and more prolonged stay in APEC countries.
Regular and Willingness to meet the demand of occasional projects necessitating extra hours to complete is required.
