We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our dynamic team. We are so excited to have our expansion complete to better serve our customer's and elevate customer experience. We are now hiring Licensed Automotive technicians.

The ability to communicate clearly and positively with customers and team members alike, is a requirement. It is most important that our Hyundai Factory trained service advisors maintain a high Customer Satisfaction rating with our customers and manufacture.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs. Document customer concerns and relay information accurately to the service technicians. Provide estimates for repairs and services, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts ordered, and customer interactions. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status and ensure timely communication throughout the service process. Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure seamless workflow in the service department. Stay informed about dealership promotions, new products, and services to better assist customers.

Experience

Previous experience in a service writer or similar role within an automotive dealership is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge or background as a mechanic is highly desirable. Proven sales experience with an emphasis on upselling automotive services is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively. Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.

Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
