Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service while facilitating communication between clients and the service department. This role requires a blend of automotive knowledge, sales skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Duties

Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival at the service department. Assess customer needs by actively listening and asking relevant questions regarding vehicle issues. Provide detailed explanations of services needed, including recommendations for repairs and maintenance. Prepare accurate estimates for services and repairs, ensuring transparency with customers. Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently. Promote additional services through upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and dealership profitability. Maintain organized records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up communications. Stay updated on automotive technology trends and dealership promotions to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Skills

Strong automotive parts knowledge Solid mechanical knowledge with an understanding of automotive repair processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively. Previous experience in a shop environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
