Service Advisor
--someone with real hands-on automotive experience--to join our team and help us continue providing exceptional customer care.
Position Overview:
The Service Advisor will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from start to finish. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, have strong communication skills, and are comfortable using technology (especially text messaging) to communicate with customers, this role may be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
Explain recommended services and repairs clearly, ensuring customer understanding
Prepare work orders, estimates, and communicate timelines effectively
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize and complete repairs efficiently
Order parts and track delivery timelines
Coordinate appointments and manage shop scheduling
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely
Prepare and process invoices
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction
Maintain detailed records of service history and customer interactions
Support daily shop operations and assist with additional duties as needed
Communicate clearly with customers and technicians in a fast-paced environment
Use text messaging effectively as a primary communication method
Preferred Qualifications:
In field experience as an automotive service advisor or automotive service technician
Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
