We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a solid understanding of automotive repair processes. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their service experience and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities



Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival at the service department. Assess customer needs by listening attentively and asking relevant questions about their vehicle issues. Provide detailed explanations of services recommended, including upselling additional services when appropriate. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service requests in the dealership's management system. Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery while keeping customers informed about their vehicle status. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation for all payments received. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further concerns or questions they may have. Stay updated on dealership promotions, products, and services to effectively communicate benefits to customers.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge or background as a mechanic is highly desirable. Proven sales skills with an ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships with clients. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly to customers and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,440.00-$45,760.00 per year
