They have five locations on Vancouver Island in Nanaimo, Duke Point, Duncan, Port Alberni, and Langford (Victoria). Berk's is the authorized dealer for Volvo Heavy Trucks and Isuzu Trucks and in addition, the authorized distributor for Canuck Trailers and Felling Trailers Inc

We are now accepting applications for a Service Advisor to be part of our Duncan team in a full-time, permanent capacity.

Responsibilities:

Effectively maintain the shops schedule. Meet scheduled appointments including internal repair orders in a timely manner. Maintain shop capacity, efficiency, and productivity. Prioritize and dispatch work for the shop. Pre-assign technicians work. Monitor the availability of technicians and inform the Shop Foremen, Service Advisors, and Managers on absences or delays. Identify and communicate opportunities to enhance workshop productivity and efficiency to Service Management. Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

Post secondary diploma/degree or equivalent experience Previous experience with scheduling in an automotive environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask Basic knowledge of or ability to understand the mechanics of a vehicle Ability to set effective, efficient time schedules Ability to prioritize workflow Ability to think strategically about ways of enhancing shop performance and productivity Desire to exceed customer expectations Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills The ability effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base Computer skills

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
