We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your expertise in customer service and mechanical knowledge will help ensure that our clients receive the highest level of satisfaction while addressing their vehicle needs. You will play a crucial role in upselling services and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, service recommendations, and repair timelines.
Utilize your mechanical knowledge to provide accurate information about automotive repairs and maintenance.
Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and completed work orders.
Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
Upsell additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Experience
Proven experience in customer service or sales, preferably in an automotive dealership environment.
Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and mechanical systems.
Experience with cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with customers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
Previous experience in upselling services or products is a plus.
