A propos du role :
Le(la) serveur(se) de nuit - service aux chambres est responsable de prendre, preparer et livrer les commandes alimentaires aux chambres des invites avec courtoisie, efficacite et souci du detail. Il veille a offrir un service personnalise de qualite, en anticipant les besoins des clients et en assurant la precision, la rapidite et la presentation des commandes, tout en maintenant une communication fluide avec la cuisine et les autres departements.
Ce que vous ferez :
Repondre au telephone en utilisant un discours courtois et efficace, et recueillir les renseignements necessaires a la commande de l'invite. Presenter la selection de nourriture et de boissons aux invites en decrivant de maniere interessante et attrayante l'origine, le gout et les methodes de preparation de chaque option.
Apporter les commandes de nourriture aux invites dans leur chambre, en prenant soin de repondre aux demandes et besoins particuliers.
Verifier les commandes sortant de la cuisine avec la personne responsable de la prise de commandes ou avec le bon de commande.
Transmettre les commandes des invites a la cuisine, y compris les demandes et les besoins particuliers, en utilisant le systeme de point de vente de l'hotel et verifier les commandes sortantes avec la commande originale de l'invite.
Fermer convenablement les factures des invites, les frais et les pourboires.
Anticiper les besoins des invites, evaluer leur satisfaction, offrir des suggestions et repondre rapidement et adequatement aux demandes et aux questions des invites.
Coordonner la livraison des commandes en assurant que toutes les demandes sont recues, traitees et commandees a la cuisine, et qu'elles sont livrees rapidement et correctement.
Travailler harmonieusement et professionnellement avec les collegues et les superviseurs.
Passer en revue les couloirs de l'hotel pour ramasser tous les elements en rapport avec le service aux chambres.
Offrir un service au restaurant pour les chambres ou les banquets pendant les periodes achalandees.
Faire etat de tous les incidents ou situations inhabituelles au superviseur aussi vite que possible.
Effectuer toute autre tache connexe.
Ce que vous contribuez :

Bonne competence en communication en francais
La connaissance de l'anglais est exigee puisque la personne devra interagir regulierement avec une clientele principalement anglophone.
Interet pour le service a la clientele.
Bonnes competences interpersonnelles. Ce poste exige de nombreux contacts avec la clientele pour lesquels d'excellentes competences en communication sont necessaires.
Capacite de se deplacer et de rester debout pendant de longues periodes.
Capacite de porter jusqu'a 13 kg (30 lb).
Le candidat ideal possedera egalement une connaissance solide de la nourriture et des vins, portera une attention particuliere aux details et aura la capacite de gerer plusieurs taches a la fois.

About the role:
The server, In-Room Dining (overnight) is responsible for taking, preparing, and delivering food orders to guest rooms with courtesy, efficiency, and attention to detail. They ensure a high-quality, personalized service by anticipating guest needs, maintaining accuracy, speed, and presentation of orders, and coordinating effectively with the kitchen and other departments.
What you will do:
Answer the phone using courteous and efficient language, and gather all necessary information for the guest's order. Present food and beverage selections to guests in an engaging and appealing manner by describing the origin, taste, and preparation methods of each item.
Deliver food orders to guest rooms while ensuring special requests and needs are met with care.
Check outgoing orders from the kitchen against the guest's original order or with the person who took the order.
Enter guest orders into the hotel's point-of-sale system, including any special requests, and verify outgoing orders for accuracy.
Properly close guest checks, including charges and gratuities.
Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond promptly and appropriately to requests or questions.
Coordinate timely order delivery to ensure all requests are received, processed, and accurately sent to the kitchen and delivered properly.
Work harmoniously and professionally with colleagues and supervisors.
Patrol guest hallways to collect trays or items related to In-Room Dining service.
Provide service in the restaurant or for banquets during peak periods.
Report any incidents or unusual situations to the supervisor as soon as possible.
Perform any other related duties as required.
What you bring:
1 - 2 years' experience in the same role, ideally in a luxury hotel environment;
Great communication skills in French
Knowledge of English is required, as the person in this role will regularly interact with a primarily English-speaking clientele.
Strong command of the French and English languages;
An affinity for guest service;
Good interpersonal skills. This position involves a large volume of guest contact and excellent communication skills are required;
Move about facility and stand for long periods of time;
The ability to carry up to 30lbs (13kg);
The ideal candidate will also have solid food and wine knowledge, a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask;
