Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience while efficiently managing their orders and requests.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all details are captured correctly. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairing suggestions to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to any requests or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, specials, and service techniques.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices, food preparation techniques, and sanitation standards is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not mandatory.
