Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Server, you will play an essential role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu knowledge, including daily specials, to assist guests in their selections. Upsell menu items effectively to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Assist with hosting duties when necessary, including managing reservations through OpenTable or similar systems.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing bills effectively. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations to ensure guest safety. Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed in the hospitality industry.
