Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Your ability to connect with customers and deliver prompt, attentive service will be key to your success in this position.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper sanitation and presentation standards are met. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service best practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation guidelines is essential. Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
