We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food service industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation. Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and time management skills. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, basic math, and cashiering duties. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and positive guest relations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred, with knowledge of food service operations. Culinary experience is a plus, along with familiarity with food preparation and safety standards. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of sanitation practices within the food industry is essential. Previous host/host experience is beneficial but not required.
