Server / Shift Leader

About the Role:

This position begins as a

server role

, with the opportunity to

grow into a leadership position

. The successful candidate will start by providing exceptional table service and, over time, take on additional responsibilities such as leading shifts when management is not present -- ensuring smooth operations, handling customer concerns or promotional adjustments, and supporting the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests Lead the FOH team during shifts when management is not in the building Handle customer issues, comps, promos, and discounts within set guidelines Communicate operational or staffing concerns to management Support fellow servers, bartenders, and hosts to maintain efficient service Ensure cleanliness, organization, and a positive atmosphere throughout the shift

Qualifications:

Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant (required) Leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality (required)

Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required

Regular weekend availability is mandatory -- including Fridays and Saturdays until as late as 11:00 p.m.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills Confident decision-making and team coordination abilities Serving It Right certification (required) Positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 34 per week
