About the Role

The Alley YMM is more than just a bowling alley -- we're Fort McMurray's go-to destination for food, fun, and unforgettable memories.

We're looking for friendly, fast, and service-savvy Servers and Shift Leaders (who also love to host!) to join our team and help deliver exceptional food & beverage experiences across the venue -- from the lanes and arcade to birthday parties and late-night hangouts.

This is a part-time, in-person position, with shifts Monday to Sunday including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Be Doing...

As a Server at The Alley, you'll bring great energy and attention to detail to every table, every guest, every time. You'll take orders, deliver food and drinks, and keep the good vibes flowing whether guests are celebrating a birthday, playing laser tag, or grabbing dinner after a game.

You'll work as part of a tight-knit team moving between the lanes, restaurant, bar, and kitchen - greeting guests and offering a helping hand to the rest of the team as you go.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and engage guests with warmth and enthusiasm Take food and beverage orders quickly and accurately Deliver food and drinks to lanes, restaurant seating, parties, and events Upsell menu items and promote specials, combos, and birthday upgrades Handle payments using our POS system Maintain clean and organized work areas Support teammates on busy shifts -- clear tables, run food, refill drinks Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns with professionalism Follow all safety, sanitation, and service standards

What We're Looking For

Friendly and outgoing with a strong service mindset Previous experience as a server or in food & beverage (preferred but not required) Confident, efficient, and able to multitask under pressure Excellent communication skills and a strong team player Comfortable on your feet and moving around a busy space Available evenings, weekends, and holidays Must meet provincial legal requirements for serving alcohol (ProServe certified or willing to obtain)
