Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.

Duties

Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to proper food handling and safety guidelines. Assist in food preparation and cooking when necessary, including baking and cake decorating. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns. Package take-out orders with care, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Provide recommendations on menu items based on customer preferences. Uphold high standards of customer service throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Experience in baking or cake decorating is a plus. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding the workflow between front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule.
