Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced server with a minimum of 2 years of proven excellence in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive attitude, and thriving in a dynamic work atmosphere. The role requires the ability to work long hours while consistently providing a high-quality dining experience to all patrons.

Responsibilities:



1. Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing them with menus and assisting with menu selections.

2. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.

3. Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.

4. Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to their requests in a professional and courteous manner.

5. Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverage offerings.

6. Up-sell menu items and beverages to maximize revenue while enhancing the dining experience.

7. Handle guest inquiries, comments, and complaints with tact and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.

8. Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.

9. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations during busy periods.

10. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

11. Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas, cleaning equipment, and restocking supplies.

12. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements:



1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a server in a fast-paced food service environment.

2. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.

3. Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.

5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.

6. Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and serving.

7. Knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.

8. Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.

9. Ability to lift and carry trays and other serving equipment as needed.

10. Food handler's permit or certification, as required by local regulations.

11. High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications:



1. Additional certification in hospitality or customer service.

2. Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems.

3. Knowledge of wine and cocktail service

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.70-$22.11 per hour
