Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their dining experience. Assist in food preparation and ensure proper handling of all food items in compliance with health regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and restrooms throughout service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a solid understanding of the food industry. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are crucial for guest interactions. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
